One’s knowledge of history is never complete. Historians who continue to publish will continue to do research. As the historian continues to expand his/her knowledge, he/she is able to make discoveries that were not possible before. "Washington's Crossing" author David Hackett Fisher continues to uncover more about US history, and inspired newer historian Patrick K. O'Donnell in his breakthrough book on the diversity of participants in the American Revolution, "The Indispensables: The Diverse Soldier-Mariners Who Shaped the Country, Formed the Navy, and Rowed Washington Across the Delaware."
